T-Bolt clamp sizes are listed by the size of the aluminum tubing OD they are compatible with. Actual clamping size is larger to accommodate silicone coupler thickness. If you are using 2″ tubing and the OD of the coupler is 2.375″ do not order a 2.25 or 2.5″ t-bolt. A 2″ T-bolt clamp has a clamping diameter of 2.13″ to 2.44″.
