The factory slingshot center vent isn’t a vent, it’s a plug. It looks like a vent, the body under it is cored out for airflow, but alas, in classic OEM fashion, all we get is a look alike. A fake. A fraud. Stop fakin’ it ’til you make it with the Zero Decibel center hood vent. The vent bolts on (with supplied hardware) with no modifications to your vehicle required. Vent the engine bay and reduce heat build up in the passenger compartment.
Laser cut from a solid piece of material, the fins bend up through carefully designed tabs. Unlike other designs, no hardware is visible once painted. Because the fin and frame are integrated no rivets are required. The machined aluminum standoffs are held in place with flush mount studs pressed in with 20,000lbs of force! Best of all, these hood vents save you money compared to other designs costing twice as much.
Vents come with studs pressed in, standoffs attached, and the rear most edge bent to 90 deg. The fins need to be bent by the end user to their desired angle. This is easily done by hand. Vents come in raw aluminum finish.
